The Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel is recruiting for a Dishwasher.
This position is full time position. Shifts may vary based on hotel demand, open availability is required, including weekends and holidays.
DUTIES
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks; maintains sanitary conditions.
- Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place all in designated containers.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
- Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
- Polish silver using machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of hand truck.
- Wash and peel vegetables using knife or peeling machine.
- Maintain health and sanitation standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Utah food handler permit required. Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time, between 6-8 hours per shift.
