Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Folder to join our team. As a Folder, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks surrounding the set-up and operation to fold sheets of paper into 4, 8, 12, 16, and 32 page sections. This is a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our printing processes.

Duties:
- Operate folding machines to fold printed materials according to specifications
- Set up and adjust folding equipment to ensure proper folding techniques
- Inspect folded materials for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to prioritize and complete folding tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months of manufacturing or related experience
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability communicate effectively to all work groups
- Ability to read, do basic math and work with basic tools (screw drivers, wrenches, etc.)
- Ability to read a ruler and understand/use metric system
- Basic computer skills to work Windows type applications
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to do basic trouble shooting when the equipment is not functioning
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with the following tools or machinery:
- Micrometers
- Caliper scales
- Pallet jack and lift
- Measuring device
- Retractable knife
- Scraper
- Wrenches
- Air hose
- Hand tools
- Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime and other shifts required
- Prompt and reliable attendance required

Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and they physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals
- Must be able to stand/work 8 hours with overtime hours as needed
- Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 25 lbs. on a regular basis
- Safety toe shoes required
- Hearing protection required

As a Folder, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that materials are accurately folded and prepared for binding. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and experience in the printing industry, we encourage you to apply.

Hours: 1st shift - Monday to Friday: 7 AM - 3 PM

2nd shift - Monday to Friday: 3 PM - 11 PM

Shift Differential of $1.00/hour on 2nd shift
