The Production Manager will review operations on a daily basis to ensure attainment of established goals for the Plant, Division, and Company. This position will support site Safety and Compliance efforts through continuous improvement activities that ensure all requirements are completed in a timely manner.
What you will do:
- Coach, train, manage and motivate production supervisors
- Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure safe production of high-quality products within specification
- Revise production schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure, operating problems, etc.
- Develop and revise operational and work procedures, resolve operational and manufacturing problems to fulfill production requirements and achieve site objectives for safety, efficiency, productivity, failure dollars, quality and service
- Develop and resource Quality Teams throughout the production environment that are consistent with plant goals
- Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors
- Coordinate production and maintenance activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment
- Analyze production capacity and recommend improvement strategies to manager
- Support Plant safety initiatives to ensure all work is being performed in a safe manner
- Ensure continuous safety improvement in culture, programs, and activities
- Routine administrative and managerial functions, performing annual performance reviews with subordinates, actively participate in budget planning and fill in for supervisors
Minimum Qualifications:
- Eighteen (18) years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment work visa status
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or eight (8) years of work experience in operations
- Two (2) years of manufacturing, operations, or engineering experience
- One (1) year of previous supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Safety systems and enforcement of Safety rules and policies
- Formal training and/or experience with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
- Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, Etc.)

Salary : $100,293 - $129,452
