Shield Wall Legal, PC, is seeking an attorney/partner. Shield Wall Legal started as a solo practitioner and now has a paralegal, a secretary, and several PI's/bouty hunters. Now, it is time to add attorneys to the fastest growing law firm in Blount County.

Our firm practices primarily personal injury, medical malpractice, business, and family law. Applicants should be interested in these cases but our firm is also growing in estate planning and criminal defense. So, candidates desiring a career in those areas are welcome to apply.

The position offered is not a salary position; rather, this is for a "partner" role. The law firm currently has 20 active clients and is receiving anywhere from 3-10 calls per day requesting service. The law firm has not been able to keep up with the number of new clients. The applicant hired will receive these referrals and will bill hourly for them.

The applicant will then be able to keep the majority of what they bill hourly. Thus, the applicant has the ability to make far more than associate, or entry, level positions which pay anywhere from $20-25 per hour on average. With Shield Wall Legal, you will make $100-150 per hour.

The only real time commitments are one to two mornings per week, as well as when you have to be in court (IF you have to be in court). Other than that, you may work from home, schedule your clients on your own time, and have complete autonomy over your schedule.

Experience is not required. New attorneys with no experience are welcome to apply, as well as experienced attorneys, and we do not care where you finished in your class ranking. The only real requirement is the desire to grow, to work hard, and to grow the business as if it is your own, because it will be.

Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and appeals
- Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare cases
- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $62,044.00 - $71,994.00 per year
