About the Work

As part of the project management office, the Business Analyst (BA) will be a critical member of the team - responsible for working with stakeholders to identify requirements, translating those requirements into user stories and tasks, designing and managing project reports, and attending meetings to gather new requirements. The BA will design reports and analyze data trends.

You will work with the Project Manager on key cross functional initiatives.


What you will do
  • Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders
  • Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
  • Participate in the selection of any requirements documentation software solutions that the organization may opt to use.
  • Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
  • Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
  • Assist with project coordination/administration
  • Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted



Who you are (Minimum qualifications)
  • You have a college diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, finance, or information systems
  • You have 7 years related work experience
  • You have proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
  • You’ve demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources
  • You have excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • You possess strong skills in project management, business analysts tools such as Visio, Miro, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana
  • You have experience working in an Agile environment
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Ideally you also (Preferred qualifications)
  • Possess BA certification
