STNA Requirements
- State-approved STNA training and certification
- Active STNA license
- Minimum 6 months of STNA work experience
- Push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking
- Annual physical
- Negative TB test results
- Clean background check

STNA Responsibilities
As a ShiftMed state-tested nursing assistant, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to:
- Measuring patient vital signs accurately.
- Notifying nursing supervisor when patients report pain.
- Assisting patients with ambulation and proper bed positioning.
- Identifying and communicating abnormal findings to nursing supervisor.
- Providing timely documentation that’s accurate and organized.
- Helping bathe and groom patients.
- Feeding patients and documenting intake.

- Hourly pay rates may differ based on the location of ShiftMed healthcare facility partners. All advertised rates reflect the wages ShiftMed partner facilities are currently offering. Hourly rates fluctuate throughout the week depending on the facility you schedule shifts with.
**ShiftMed adheres to CMS and local Department of Health guidance on COVID-19 vaccinations. Healthcare professionals must be up to date on all recommended COVID-19 vaccinations, including a booster dose when required. Healthcare professionals not up to date on COVID-19 vaccination doses may be required to undergo weekly testing and comply with mask mandates at ShiftMed client facilities. Vaccinated workers may still be subject to regular COVID-19 symptom screenings, including temperature and symptom checks.
