Job Posting for Experienced Silk Screen Printer at Shirts R Us
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN SCREEN PRINTING.
Job duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepares screen printing stencils
- Mixing and loading ink
- Cleaning machines
- Troubleshooting technological problems
- Provides information to resolve and expedite problems or questions, and refers calls to appropriate source
- Maintaining screen printing equipment
- Drying and folding screen printed items
- Keeping records of work completed by using company
- Calls customers when requested
- Designs screen print patterns when required
- Checks all emails on a daily basis
- Must utilize all of the company’s software programs; Inksoft, helpdesk, slack, etc.
- Must use the oven
- Participates in boxing and shipping
This position requires:
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Aptitude for multi-tasking and efficiency
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
- Reliability in adhering to company attendance standards
- Ability to carry out oral and written instructions with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interface with staff, customers, vendors and all level of management.
- Ability to be flexible in re-prioritizing tasks in a constantly changing and demanding environment to meet deadlines.
- Must have Clear vision
- Must have correct color perception and hand-eye coordination
- Employees must be willing to handle and mix the chemicals used in screen printing ink.
- Must have organizational skills
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- knowledge of the screen printing equipment is preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
