What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st shift - Production Lead position at Shoals Technologies Group?

Duties:
- Coordinates, facilitates and directs the daily activities of hourly manufacturing Associates.
- Set up the production line to the specification of the customer’s order and works closely with various departments to ensure that parts are manufactured according to customer’s specifications.
- Makes sure that appropriate parts and quantity of parts are being run according to production schedule.
- Communicates any safety, quality, and/or production related issues with Supervisor or appropriate management representative.
- Coordinate housekeeping activities of area.
- Provides necessary training to new associates and documents said training.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve delays in the shift
- Work with Supervisor and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
- Excel/ERP/Hand Scanner
- Computer Skills (Basic Outlook, Word, and Excel knowledge) GP a plus.
- Ability to read and write English.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of previous lead experience preferred, not required
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend and/or squat for 10 hours in a day.
- Must be able to lift up to 25-50 Ibs at a time.
- Regularly perform repetitive tasks
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.
