Maintenance Technician
SHOE SHOW, INC., the country’s largest privately held footwear retailer in business 63 years with more than 1,100 stores in 47 states, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is available at our Distribution Center- located at 2201 Trinity Church Rd in Concord, NC. Local candidates are encouraged to apply!
What you should know:
This individual will be part of a team that participates in all warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate will be task-oriented, organized, and mechanically inclined. They will perform routine and on-the-spot industrial maintenance. If you like to troubleshoot and fix things on the go in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity for you!
What you will do:
- Complete preventative and reactive industrial maintenance
- Operate standard maintenance/power tools
- Work with maintenance trades and tasks such as electrical, welding, fabrication, mechanical, pneumatic, and plumbing
- Read blueprints
- Document all work
- Communicate with peers on a daily basis
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
- Operate and maintain additional warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Comply with all safety procedures and regulations
Software Applications:
- Basic computer knowledge
