The Pricing & eCommerce Production Specialist assists with the daily tasks involved with implementing the organization's pricing strategy. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather, process and communicate pricing information throughout the organization. Also serves as a backup for the Pricing Manager on adhoc pricing updates and eCommerce production.
This position is located at Shoe Carnival's Corporate headquarters at 7500 E Columbia St, Evansville IN. The primary hours for the position are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with Friday being an optional work from home day.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all pricing business rules set by the company and helps to ensure alignment and integration of the pricing strategy with the overall business strategy.
- Works closely with GMM's, Buyers, Marketing, and eCommerce to understand their needs, expectations, and challenges regarding pricing.
- Builds and maintains promotions, sales and global promotions for Mic and Cart.
- Manages the flash sale process including creating monthly spreadsheets, communicating with the
- Merchandising department on pricing issues, and ensures deadlines are met.
- Builds and maintains ad worksheets for all flash sales, exception week sales and doorbuster sales.
- Creates and maintains website landing pages for all flash sales.
- Assists in checking promotional copy and disclaimers on all assets in Basecamp.
- Assists in creating homepage briefs as necessary.
- Assists in testing of barcoded coupons for digital marketing including emails, website and affiliate offers as needed.
- Serves as backup for adhoc pricing changes; receiving updates from Marketing and Buying, updating internal systems, and communicating with Store Operations.
- Serves as backup for eCommerce production as needed.
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree or 2 years' experience in a relevant field, such as price management, marketing, or finance.
- Prior experience with data entry and pricing platforms a plus.
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of e-commerce platforms, and a strategic mindset are essential for success in this role.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to meet daily deadlines and follow through to completion.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), both in articulating his/her ideas and gathering input from key stakeholders.
