POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for serving food and beverages to 2one8 fine dining guests. In all interactions, the position is responsible for making STAR service to guests and fellow team members a first priority.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides exceptional, STAR Service to ensure overall guest satisfaction.

- Remember to Thank and Close
- Performs the position-specific STAR service expectations, as outlined by the department.
Responsible for providing fine dining service and quality to all 2one8 guests. They will be responsible for seeing to the guests needs in a formal elegant manner.
- Present wine and menu choices to guests unfamiliar with menu.
- Be knowledgeable in all wines and serve tableside to guests and pour French style.
- Mix drinks to legal age guests and be aware of proper pouring procedure.
- Prepare tray for quality service and presentation
- Verbally present dessert items
- Be knowledgeable on all menu items and be able to explain how each item is prepared.
Responsible for promoting high standards of guest service to ensure an enjoyable evening for the guests.
- Answer calls and take reservations accurately and according to procedure
- Listen and response to guest questions and refers guests to the appropriate department.
- Be knowledgeable comping redemption procedures
- Operate Point of Sale (cash register) system to record transactions, collect payment (credit cards, cash, room charges, tokens, marketing coupons, etc.) and make change correctly
- Ensure proper cash handling techniques and balancing of monies during and at end of shift
- Greet and seat guests as needed
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining a clean and safe working environment to ensure safety in the Restaurant.
- Pre-bus tables
- clean and set tables as needed.
- Have fine eye for detail, keep dining area crisp and clean
- Polish all stemware and silverware and fold napkins before each shift
Responsible for assisting in kitchen as business flow requires
- Assist kitchen in salad preparation
- Assist kitchen in dessert preparation

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school education or GED.One year of Fine dining experience or two years of restaurant experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses & Designations
Must meet licensing requirements as prescribed by the Tribal-State Compact for gaming.

Knowledge of available wine list- Knowledge of basic computer skills
