Job Summary:

As a Social Worker and Mental Health Counselor, you will be an integral part of our youth centers, delivering expert social work services to patients and their families. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will address the psychosocial needs of individuals facing challenges. This role provides a unique chance to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patients' strengths, needs, and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and counseling to individuals, families, and groups to support their emotional and psychological well-being.
• Advocate for patients' rights and coordinate with external agencies to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate social work perspectives into the overall treatment plan.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or acute situations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Maryland.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Contract Details:

• Position: Master Level Social Worker – Youth Centers
• Location: Hagerstown, Flintstone, Sabillasville, and Garrett County Maryland
• Contract Duration: 12 Months
• Contract Start Date: ASAP
• Compensation: Master Level Social Worker- $66, Mental Health Counselor $47

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $47.00 - $66.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
