Primary Description:

The Women’s Ministry Director will serve Shoreline Church by giving vision and leadership to the Women’s Leadership Team. This will be done by equipping, supporting, and encouraging the volunteer leaders as they use their gifts to lead their teams in each ministry area. The Women’s Leadership Team includes volunteer leaders for Mothers Of PreSchoolers (MOPS), Women’s Mentoring, Women's Bible Study, Special Events, Prayer, and Connections. In partnership with these leaders, she will provide opportunities to encourage all women to grow in their faith and to create an atmosphere in which women who are disconnected from God can draw near to the Savior.

Status: Part-Time (20-25 hours)

Lines of Accountability: Reports to the Adult Spiritual Formation Director

Ministry Responsibilities:

Shoreline Women’s Ministry

• Vision Cast: Set the overall direction for the ministry in partnership with the Women’s Ministry Leadership Team.
• Teach: The Director will be open to teaching opportunities for any Women’s Ministry area as requested by ministry leaders.
• Train: Support and assist Women’s Ministry leaders in equipping their ministry teams for service in each of the Women’s Ministry areas.
• Communicate with all women of Shoreline through the Shoreline website and email communications that will inspire, inform, and set direction for the Women’s Ministry.

Women’s Ministry Leadership Team

• Prayerful recruitment of a volunteer ministry leader for each of the ministry areas: MOPS, Women’s Mentoring, Women's Bible Study, Special Events, Prayer, and Connections.
• Give spiritual direction, communicate, train, and pass on the information needed to support each team leader following their needs and leadership style.
• Meet monthly with each ministry leader to support and strategize how to move forward in their ministry area.
• Meet quarterly with the entire Women’s Ministry Leadership Team to equip, encourage, and create an opportunity for all leaders to engage with each other. During this time the Director will infuse Organic Outreach, give spiritual leadership, and training in designated aspects of leadership development, and offer a place for ministry leaders to meet with each other and be encouraged by each other.

General Administration

• Be responsible for all administrative functions of each ministry area, delegating tasks to the Women’s Ministry Coordinator.
• Develop, oversee, and manage the annual Women’s Ministry Budget.
• Supervise and provide work and direction for the Women’s Ministry Coordinator.
• Guide, lead, and review all curricula used by Women’s Ministries.
• Coordinate schedules for all Women’s Ministry programs.

Shoreline Staff Team Member

• Attend staff meetings.
• Attend meetings with the Spiritual Development Pastor as designated.
• Serve as a member of the Shoreline Outreach Influence Team.
• Attend events as directed by the Executive Team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Monterey, CA 93940: Relocate before starting work (Required)
