What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position at Shortridge Construction Co Inc?
General clerical and office duties to include but not limited to:
- Answer telephone, take messages, route callers to proper person & dispatch necessary equipment or personnel in a professional manner
- Greet and assist visitors and delivery drivers with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Maintain data bases and lists in Microsoft Excel
- Place orders as instructed
- Make deliveries/pickups to jobsites
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, scanning, and faxing
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks including filing and sorting.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Keep common areas of office clean and organized
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a administrative assistant/receptionist or in related field preferred
- Consistent, professional dress and manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
- Good time management skills.
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
