SUMMARY

Show Imaging, Inc. is a national company providing technical, creative and management support for the concert, corporate and special events industries. Our services include audio, video and lighting technical solutions, technical and production management, creative design and content services and much more. Our Warehouse Technicians are responsible for helping to pull and prep technical equipment, load and unload trucks, and help to build shows for our diverse clients.

The position of Production Coordinator is an important production support role and will serve as the in-house coordinator assisting with project operations, creative and show services, vendor management, resource scheduling, small event coordination, marketing, and social media support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Position Roles and Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will work with the a variety of departments detailed below:

Show Services (25%):

  • Assisting a Producer in Managing Scope & Budget
  • Scheduling Site Visits
  • Developing and crafting internal creative needs and working with internal Creative partners in executing on timeline and vision.
  • Developing Run of Show & Agendas in collaboration with a producer
  • Assist in Communication and Facilitating of Project Information
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, escalating issues as needed.

Logistics Support (25%):

  • Resource Management – Support and back up to Logistics Manager for all resource scheduling using Lasso. Lasso operations include the data management of:
    • Freelance scheduling and availability monitoring
    • Resource over hire scheduling – Third party vendors
    • Obtaining and entering event details into the Lasso system
  • Vendor Management – maintain, support and order vendor services and sub-rental activities, including:
    • Generators
    • Tents and fencing
    • Heavy lift equipment
    • Security
    • Runners
    • Crew meals
  • Travel Coordination – assist Logistic Department with resource travel planning, travel booking and itinerary support management

Production Operations (25%):

  • Support Account Executives, sales managers and production managers with medium and large scale events and shows
  • Support and/or manage assigned small or special events
  • Provide assistance with show support activities including:
    • Event support tasks such as meal delivery for crew, union, etc.
    • Miscellaneous assignments during an event that support overall production
  • Support all aspects of sub-rentals, labor orders and crew calls
  • For Union crews, assist Human Resources with onsite on-boarding activities

Marketing and Creative Operations (25%):

  • Manage and maintain graphics tracking system
  • Manage digital assets from events including video, audio, photos, etc.
  • Manage and coordinate social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google plus
  • Support email blast coordination with internal and external communication projects

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess event production experience
  • Demonstrated experience with event coordination
  • Proficient computer skills with industry related software packages
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients, vendors, etc.
  • Must embody the Show Imaging brand and culture: character, integrity, credibility and reputation
  • Someone who approaches work with a positive attitude, is willing to take and provide feedback in a productive and proactive manner.
  • Additional skills and background that could be beneficial include: Marketing background, theatre, corporate events, graphic design or presentation design skills, communications

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer as well as prolonged standing and physical work demands associated with show production.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to deal with fast paced environment with high degree of stress and time management skills needed.
