Job Overview
Shriners Children’s, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center, has an opportunity for an Appointment Scheduler (Department Asst. III) position to join our team.

Responsibilities
Shriners Children's Lexington has an immediate opening for a Full Time Appointment Scheduler (Department Asst. III) position in our Patient Access Department, Monday- Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Closed weekends and major holidays.
- Coordinate appointment schedule requests via phone, voicemail, email, and work queues.
- Tasks include initial assessment scheduling and collection of necessary demographic/insurance information.
- Must maintain effective communication with the patient and ancillary departments within the clinic.
- Assists other internal departments with assigned tasks as requested.
Qualifications
Current full Covid vaccination status required.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- At least 6 months registration, scheduling and insurance verification experience in acute care or group practice facility required.
- Computer Applications preferred
