Join our dynamic healthcare team as we provide comprehensive psychological care to individuals and groups in a healthcare environment. As a Licensed Psychologist, you will play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to enhance their overall mental and emotional health.

Contract Term: 09/04/2023 - 02/03/2027

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm with a 30 minute lunch. No Weekends, No Holidays, No Call!

Responsibilities:

  • Practice psychology within the guidelines of state licensing board and ethical principles.
  • Conduct thorough psychological evaluations using clinical interviews and testing.
  • Establish accurate psychiatric diagnoses based on recognized criteria.
  • Deliver psychological treatment to individuals and groups, assisting patients in coping with medical challenges.
  • Collaborate in patient rehabilitation efforts.Document patient care and recommendations in medical records within 24 hours of appointments.
  • Manage a reasonable caseload, not exceeding approximately 16 sessions per day.
  • Participate in group medical appointments and other relevant projects.
  • Provide clinical insight and direction as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited college or university.
  • Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship.
  • One year fellowship, residency, or equivalent experience in health psychology or behavioral medicine.
  • Valid, unrestricted license or certification to practice as a Psychologist.
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS Certifications.
  • Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
