Contract Term: 09/04/2023 - 02/03/2027
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm with a 30 minute lunch. No Weekends, No Holidays, No Call!
Responsibilities:
- Practice psychology within the guidelines of state licensing board and ethical principles.
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations using clinical interviews and testing.
- Establish accurate psychiatric diagnoses based on recognized criteria.
- Deliver psychological treatment to individuals and groups, assisting patients in coping with medical challenges.
- Collaborate in patient rehabilitation efforts.Document patient care and recommendations in medical records within 24 hours of appointments.
- Manage a reasonable caseload, not exceeding approximately 16 sessions per day.
- Participate in group medical appointments and other relevant projects.
- Provide clinical insight and direction as needed.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited college or university.
- Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship.
- One year fellowship, residency, or equivalent experience in health psychology or behavioral medicine.
- Valid, unrestricted license or certification to practice as a Psychologist.
- Current AHA or ARC BLS Certifications.
- Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
