About the Role:
- The Senior Accountant provides financial and accounting support for the company at the direction of the Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies while contributing to an efficient and accurate closing process
- Oversee/participate receivable functions, including weekly deposits, general ledger coding and AR reconciliations.
- Optimizing cash flow through best practices
- Oversee/participate in accounts payable functions, optimizing cash flow and vendor relationships
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, increasing efficiency
- Manage automated expense tracking system
- Streamline payroll processing, resulting in fewer errors and improved employee satisfaction
- Assist in the implementation of accounting software, improving data accuracy and reporting capabilities
- Collaborate with auditors during a financial audit
- Be responsible for AP/AR activities to include Receivables (Input General Ledger coding for AR, Recording daily deposits via bank, Performing account reconciliations, Establishing control procedures around Credits issued to client accounts and evaluate, discount methodology, Processing credit cards for clients) and Accounts Payable (Performing Accounts Payable entries to include, but not limited to all payables, Entering W-9 and ACH data for vendor management in Netsuite, Managing 1099 process for YE close, Managing credit card expenses and all controls around credit cards)
- Supporting Payroll activities (Generating accurate and timely Commissions Reports, Reviewing all reimbursement processes and implement controls)
- Ad hoc reports as requested by CFO and/or Controller
- Be a part of various department-wide initiatives
- Take part in implementation and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Mange the YE audit request listing
- Manage International consolidation efforts
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in professional accounting roles.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Netsuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Tax Preparation, Budgeting and Forecasting, Process Improvement, Team Leadership,International Accounting consolidation, and Financial Analysis
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
Physical Demands:
Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting up to 25 pounds; Requires a normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations; Position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions

Compensation & Benefits:
The Company offers competitive compensation based on an applicant's experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Formal compensation offers are based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
For the position of Senior Accountant, expected compensation is between $80,000 to $90,000, on an annual basis. This is an FLSA-exempt position and not eligible for overtime pay.
