What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telecom Field Technician position at SIC Enterprises LLC?
- This is a Part Time, W2 position.
- Must be able to work alone, manage time, follow detailed instructions.
- Hands-on experience with pulling, and terminating various cable types.
- Knowledge of various cable installation methods.
- Ability to mount and install backboards, cross-connect racks, and patch panels.
- You must be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner to perform visual inspections, problem identification, etc.
- Must have hands-on experience running acble to suppport security systems, WiFi, access control, and data networks.
- Must know how to terminate 66 and 110 blocks.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of the use of first stop and installing cable support systems.
- Must have: UTP 4 pair cable tester, tone generator, butt set, small extension ladder.
- Experience with commercial phone rooms and telecom equipment rooms.
- MUST BE NEAT, AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST
The company buys all materials in advance. All work must be 100% complete when leaving any assignment. Payments are made 14 days from completion (Net 14). Pay is by direct deposit.
