Position: Facility Cultivation Technician

Classification: Hourly/Non – Exempt

Job Overview:
Rosebud Gardens is the Rosebud Sioux Tribes premier Cannabis Company with a retail and cultivation facility located in Mission, SD. Responsibilities:

· Performing plant propagations, transplanting, and crop rotation practices.

· Performing daily tasks such as watering, pruning, defoliation, and trellising plants.

· Scouting the garden for signs of plant pathogens and insect pest pressures.

· Cleaning work areas and maintaining tools in accordance with sanitation standards.

· Washing pots/trays/plant tables, irrigation lines, etc.

· Preparing large batches of fertilizer stock tank solution.

· Creating plant barcode labels and moving inventory through computer software.

· Monitoring and recording data such as soil moisture content, Ph, EC, as well as temperature and humidity levels.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Reliable transportation

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Excellent communication and people skills

· Must be 21 years or older (as required by law)

· Current MED badge

· Excellent mathematical, language, and reasoning skills

· Excellent critical thinking skills.

· Ability to manage a team in a challenging environment in accordance with company standards.

· Must be able to individually lift 50 lbs.

· Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Additional abilities required:

· This job requires physical activity, including prolong standing, repetitive bending, climbing, lifting, or moving up to 25 pounds (or more with assistance from a coworker.) Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Working conditions also include varying range of temperatures and humidity levels.

Experience:

· Cultivation Technician: 1-3 years (preferred)

Licenses:

· Tribal MMJ employee Badge (must be able to obtain a badge prior to beginning employment)

Qualifications and Education:

· High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

· Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Tribal Marijuana ordinance.

· All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

· Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a related position with an emphasis in an operations production/manufacturing environment.

· Experience with inventory control methods.

· Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.

· Ability to build and maintain positive relationships and gain support and achieve results both internally and externally.

· Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solving.

· Ability to pay attention to detail and have good time management skills.

· Tribal MED Badge

Job Type:

· Full-time- 45 Hours per week Salary details: $18.00 an hour

Weekly Day Range:

· Monday to Friday All Hours

· Weekend availability – must cover shifts as needed.

Shifts:

· 10-hour shift

· 8-hour shift

· Day shift

· Evening shift

· Morning shift

· Night shift
