Graphics Installer

Description

• Graphics installer is responsible for preparation and installation of graphics to vehicles, or applicable components/surfaces. This includes setting up ladders, platforms and other necessary working equipment, proper use of chemicals such as alcohol and solvents to clean surfaces before installation. Graphics installer will also assist in printing, laminating, cutting and make ready of graphics packages as needed. Graphics installer should be proficient in installation of graphics on all flat and curved surfaces. Graphics installer must follow all safety rules and maintain compliance with company policy, including being able to work safely to minimize or eliminate risk of personal injury and damage to customer property.

  Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces for installation of vinyl graphics, decals, and wraps.
• When applicable, properly utilize a heat gun or torch for applying graphics.
• Weed, tape, and finalize graphics.
• Install vinyl graphics on vehicles and other various surfaces.
• Remove vinyl and adhesive from a variety of surfaces without causing damage to the surface.
• Assist in printing, laminating, weeding, and make ready of graphics packages.
• Participate in maintaining a clean work center to meet 5s initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members, including graphics team lead, management, or other applicable team members to ensure end user expectations are fully met.
• Additional Related duties assigned as necessary.

Qualifications

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk stairs and/or climb ladders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
