Family Medicine Physician with OB

SRMC is searching for a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with OB to join our team. This position provides services through a full-time clinic practice in the rural health clinic.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide full-scope family medicine care including obstetrics. Rotational call required.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Create and recommend treatment plans.
• Intake patient medical histories.
• Update patient information and charts with the latest findings and treatments.
• Order tests for health care staff to administer.
• Review and interpret test results.
• Respond to questions and concerns from patients about their health care and well-being.
• Discuss proper nutrition, hygiene, and self-care with patients to promote good health.
• Work with various medical staff such as an anesthesiologist, surgeons, and nurses to provide patient care.
• Potential to provide APP oversight and respond timely to their needs.

Family Medicine w/ OB Requirements:

• Board certified, or eligible after completion of a 90 day probationary period, MD, or Professional Degree in Medicine from an accredited medical school.
• Current M.D. in the State of Nebraska.
• Surgical OB Trained
• Certification in BCLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS required; SRMC will help obtain.
• Current State and DEA Licenses.
• 1-3 years of physician or hospitalist experience preferred.
