Sidney Regional Medical Center is searching for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Emergency Department Team!
Job Responsibilities:
- The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the provision of timely, quality, and safe primary health care and emergency care for acute, chronic, and injured patients in the Emergency Department at Sidney Regional Medical Center
- Diagnoses medical conditions, plans and implements interventions, and evaluates patient responses under the direction of, and in partnership with, a collaborating physician or designated supervising physician.
- The PA or NP may also serve as a resource for nursing staff consultation in the care of complex medical patients.
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned/delegated by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or the VP of Patient Care Services.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.
- Experience: Two years of clinical experience in a related healthcare setting is preferred.
- Required Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Nebraska Required.
This is a full-time position, which is defined as eight, 24 hour shifts per month.
