Established (20 years) law firm in search of a part-time bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be experienced in trust accounting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-notch firm that offers a competitive salary. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
Duties Include:
- Accounts receivable.
- Accounts payable.
- Time entry and billing.
- Bank, credit card, and trust account reconciliations.
- Bi-weekly payroll and annual payroll tax return reconciliation.
- Monthly financial statements.
- Annual 1099 filings.
- Year-end data preparation for CPA.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have 4 years working experience as a bookkeeper.
- Must have trust accounting experience.
- Must submit to a criminal background check and credit check.
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Clio or other legal billing software a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $17 - $27 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 20-25 hours per week, flexible schedule
Travel requirement: Bank runs
