Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The salary range for this position is $197,700 to $355,900 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Head of LCS Product Management Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for Product Management functions in the Lifecycle Collaboration Software (LCS) business segment, including Teamcenter, Capital and Polarion software.
- Lead and Build the Team. Manage a team of senior product management leaders. Invest in team development, engagement and talent acquisition
- Customer. Cultivate relationships with customers across multiple industries and geographies. Support joint executive forums as well as assist sales in developing future pipeline / revenue opportunities
- Vision and Strategy. Develop and maintain a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap. Define and deliver concrete “wins” with each release. Demonstrate thought leadership and communicate our product direction to customers, analysts, and media
- Competition & Market Analysis. Stay abreast of competitive and market dynamics and apply insights to LCS strategy and execution
- Develop & Maintain Strategic Plan. Lead the strategic planning process for LCS applying Agile methods to define the plan of record. Work closely with development teams to deliver the plan, making appropriate trade-offs based on evolving market needs
- M&A, Partners. Develop and execute M&A opportunities based on LCS business and strategy goals. Identify and support technology partners including contract negotiation
- Align with Internal Stakeholders. Collaborate with Strategy, Industries, Sales, Services, Technology & Innovation, Marketing, and other product segments to solicit feedback, balance competing priorities and deliver compelling solutions to the market
- Create Market Leading Products. Create products with fast performance and compelling user experience, based on a modern cloud architecture that incorporates the latest technology and innovations
- Pricing and Packaging. Manage LCS portfolio including Price Book, pricing and licensing strategy and new product introductions.
- Business Results. Orchestrate Quarterly Business Review with senior leadership to monitor revenue, key business metrics and trends. Manage budget. Ensure investments, business plans and sales models are aligned to achieve SaaS / ARR targets and support customers as they transform to the Cloud.
- Strong background in both business and technical roles
- Able to effectively communicate with senior management and C-level customers
- Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills
- Ability to work on multiple highly complex projects simultaneously
- Exceptional time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Minimum 10 years of enterprise software and technology experience
- At least 5 years in a leading portfolio or product management role
- Track record of bringing new products to market, delivered through on-prem and SaaS business models
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical discipline required. Graduate level a plus
- Experience working in discrete manufacturing industry desired
- Normal office environment
- 30-40% of time required to travel
