Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, operations management, similar field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience is required.
- 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience is required, exposure to Lean Six Sigma is preferred. Experience with supervising front line staff in a performance-driven, challenging environment is preferred. SAP/ EWM working experience. Microsoft Suite working knowledge
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others, effective coaching, leading a team-based approach to decision-making
- Must have strong written and oral skills. Communicate with internal product lines. Individual must be detailed orientated, be able to perform a root cause and corrective action solution(s). Trouble shoot complex internal customer issues. Be able to delegate and direct others.

- As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. SEI will monitor the situation closely and may reimplement its policy if required to comply with federal law. Your responsibilities
- Supervise a team of 20 team of outbound personnel, time sheets, schedules, and daily tasks. Ensures proper personnel training is met. Troubleshoots customer orders. Works closely with customer service. Manages daily priorities. Involvement in special projects, cost reductions and improvements.
- Manage the moving of all materials/finished products in a timely manner. Ensures quality issues have root causes identified and corrective actions implemented. Utilize docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading time.
- Develop and motivate the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact. Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards. Ensure and enforce all rules and regulations are being followed. Have a regular presence on the plant floor and occasionally lift 50 lbs. This role may operate forklift and equipment occasionally.
- May require off-shift and weekend work.
- Expedite requests ensure on-time delivery.
