Your Profile

• Diploma or achievement certificate from a technical institute or high school education
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or repair shop facility
• NDT Certificates of Level II SNT-TC-1A PT, MT, RT, UT is mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform NDT tasks and interpret results
• Exceptional attention to safety and quality
• Ability to interpret specifications, follow directions, and written instructions
• Familiar with using formulas and interpreting charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, and diagrams
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills
• Excellent command of English
• Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with minimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations
• Proven integrity and high personal standards of behaviour
• Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Your Responsibilities

• Perform standard NDT inspection activities according to approved technical specifications as well as special NDT activities that may include Air & Water flow testing
• Generate inspection reports
• Establish proper inspection techniques in compliance with quality specifications and standards
• Loading, unloading, and routing components prior to inspection, repair, or coating
• Transport components to various workstations within the department and facility
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance of department equipment including maintaining records and logs
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Manage calibration of NDT equipment
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform job related tasks as assigned by management
