Your Profile
- Diploma or achievement certificate from a technical institute or high school education
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or repair shop facility
- NDT Certificates of Level II SNT-TC-1A PT, MT, RT, UT is mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform NDT tasks and interpret results
- Exceptional attention to safety and quality
- Ability to interpret specifications, follow directions, and written instructions
- Familiar with using formulas and interpreting charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, and diagrams
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills
- Excellent command of English
- Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with minimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations
- Proven integrity and high personal standards of behaviour
- Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Your Responsibilities
- Perform standard NDT inspection activities according to approved technical specifications as well as special NDT activities that may include Air & Water flow testing
- Generate inspection reports
- Establish proper inspection techniques in compliance with quality specifications and standards
- Loading, unloading, and routing components prior to inspection, repair, or coating
- Transport components to various workstations within the department and facility
- Assist in performing preventative maintenance of department equipment including maintaining records and logs
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Manage calibration of NDT equipment
- May instruct and supervise others
- Perform job related tasks as assigned by management
