What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Security Infrastructure Architect position at Siemens?
- Leverage previous experience and expertise to architect and then implement secure, durable and highly available cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud service providers with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure
- Consult with Security leaders and DevOps teams to analyze and implement cloud infrastructure meeting and/or exceeding business requirements
- Automate infrastructure deployments using IAC tools and techniques
- Conduct cloud infrastructure risk assessments, analyze gaps and collaborate with internal DevOps teams to deliver remediation plan for any discovered gaps
- Mentor/coach other security analysts and provide guidance/expertise to facilitate their career path
- Perform security research, furthering individual and team understanding of the threat landscape, as well as cutting-edge security technologies. Attend security conferences and participate in local security community events. Evaluate products and tools that can improve the security of DI SW’s SaaS offerings providing value to customers.
- BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent experience; MIS or related field MBA is a plus
- 8 years’ experience in cloud infrastructure architecture and networking, experience with DI SW software products is a plus
- 5 years’ experience working with DevOps teams and continuous integration/deployment strategies
- 5 years’ experience migrating and/or transforming legacy solutions to cloud deployments (lift and shift)
- 5 years’ experience managing highly available cloud “data center” operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness, including networking, server hardware and storage
- 3 years’ experience architecting, deploying and operating solutions built on AWS and Azure
- Experience with obtaining ISO27001 certification and SOC2 attestations
- AWS Certified Solution Architect
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent demonstrated process management skills; project and goal oriented
- Personable, approachable, and readily accepting of change; able to work cohesively with a variety of talented individuals within the organization
- Experience with Splunk or other SIEM solution a plus
