We are adding an Operations Manager who will lead the final assembly production process of our passenger rail cars. Bring your passion for production to Siemens Mobility!

What you will be doing 

Meet project targets for direct labor hours, schedule and quality.

Ensure development and documentation of best practice work standards and ensure all team members are properly trained for their assigned tasks.

Plan production operations, define workflow, and establish priorities and production sequences to meet project and interdepartmental requirements

Develop, monitor and meet department budgets and business plans.

Establish, monitor, and adjust manpower and applicable equipment planning to meet production demands.

Develop and implement measures to improve production efficiency, equipment performance, and product quality.

Create and maintain appropriate KPI’s along with benchmarks and targets that provide a clear indication of department performance, performance trends, and potential problem areas.


What you will need to be successful:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline

7years’ experience managing complex assembly lines for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies

5 years’ experience in OEM capital equipment manufacturing operations (preferably passenger rail cars, buses, RV’s, aerospace or aviation, in a schedule driven, high mix/low volume, engineer-to-order, project environment.

 A track record of successful outcomes in manufacturing
