What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Asset Manager position at Siemens?
- Business development and portfolio management for Siemens Healthineers Real Estate within the NAM regional area for the Diagnostic Imaging/Molecular Imaging, Advanced Therapy, and Ultrasound business units, ultimately to define regional real estate strategies
- Entrepreneurial management of all real estate assets including external and internal leases and owned properties
- Primary business point of contact to interpret business requirements to the NAM Real Estate team and drive investments and divestments
- Customer relationship management (internal) and senior contact partner for all Real Estate related topics within the AMU
- You are driven to continuous improvement of real estate costs for internal customers
- You are an expert with real estate strategy and can manage close cooperation and communication with SHS RE (HQ/Global)
- You have good strategic skills and can realize measures of the AMU real estate portfolio aligned with the business and SHS RE NAM goals
- Initiate and draft AMU related investment applications and coordinate with SHS RE (HQ/Global) business lines
- You support and have a deep understanding of the SHS RE HQ/Global business areas e.g. Construction & Design (CD), Workplace (WP), Facility Management Services (FMS), and Global Operations (OS)
- You are able to support real estate activities and would like more involvement in driving decisions and more opportunity to bring strategic solutions to the forefront
- You have a passion to research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices
- You will initiate, manage, and draft related investment applications and coordinate with NAM business lines to seek approvals
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 10 years in commercial Real Estate or similar
- Willing to travel up to 20%
- Knowledge in multiple Corporate Real Estate disciplines such as Asset Management Property Management Transactions, Design & Constuction, Workplace Trends, Facility Management, Procurement of Real Estate Services & Legal aspects.
- Basic knowledge of strategic real estate management, location concepts, and real estate development
- Excellent communication skills, social competency, and presentation skills with customer orientation
