This is a role well suited to an ambitious
professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Biochemist, you will be responsible for:
- You may lead or participate in process and/or design change projects. You will develop protocols, prepare validation and/or test results reports, and work with cross functional teams.
- You may provide guidance to technicians and lead troubleshooting during production and post distribution of commercial products.
- You may lead a team or directly investigate the performance of raw materials for use in manufacture of Chemistry/Immunoassay products.
- You may lead or participate in investigation of escalated complaints and manufacturing issues. You will coordinate and perform investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- You may work in laboratory running automated chemistry/immunoassay analyzers with serum and other biological fluids of human and animal origin.

- You have good management and people skills, working with cross function teams to meet project milestones.
- You have good understanding and knowledge of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies and principles of immunodiagnostic technologies as well as experience with immunoassays.
- You have demonstrated ability to interpret data and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- You are knowledgeable about the 4th level support requirements for handling customer complaints.
- You have proficiency in using Microsoft Office and statistical tools.
- You have a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have strong chemistry or biochemistry background related to complex reagent production.
Required skills to have for the success of this role
- BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Medical Technology, Biology or related disciplines with 5 - 8 years of job-related experience.
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) with 1 - 3 years of job-related experience.
- Experience working in a regulated environment
