SIERRA COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

We are seeking a driven Project Manager

Location: Can work from home or out of Main Office in Hialeah FL

Most Projects to Bid and Execute are from North Central Florida to South Florida but we are expanding North

The Project Manager will manage Retail Banking projects and lead the project team to successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Take an active role in and guide jobs and job teams in each phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services.
  • Must understand risk assessment, profitability and continuously communicate with the Project Executive Team throughout the life of the project.
  • Identify and focus on critical issues related to constructability including associated costs and logistical issues.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial processes, controls, and reports, i.e., internal budgets, costs to complete, billings, collections, subcontractor payments, change order preparation and resolution, contracts, etc.
  • Oversee the change order process to ensure the extras presented to the owner get approved.
  • Ensure that jobs are completed according to schedule and meet profit goals.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing client, architect, subcontractor and industry (landlords, brokers, etc) relationships at the appropriate level reinforcing Sullivan's commitment to continuously addressing their needs and interests.
  • Work collaboratively with superintendents and outside parties (I.e. the design team, etc.) to accomplish client goals.
  • Promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in construction management with a commercial general contracting company or Similar.
  • Experience managing Banking Retail projects would be ideal.
  • Ability to Bring in additional Clients would be ideal.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously as well as fast track projects.
  • Management and Leadership experience, including experience mentoring project managers and assistant project managers and project engineers.
  • Extensive experience maintaining project budgets and schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Performing this job requires the use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Schedule:

  • Schedule Bid and Coordinate during the week and weekends on call for anything that potentially comes up in the execution of work which occurs mainly in nights and weekends.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Will require traveling to prebid meetings throughout florida and possibly further north as we expand, alot of the management is done remotely unless there are critial issues or events.

Experience:

  • Construction management: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • OSHA 30 (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • For bid walks and onsite coordination if and as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
