What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Administrative Assistant I position at Sierra Nevada Corporation?
In this role you will interface with SNC employees and external customers. You will have the opportunity to support with day to day site specific administrative tasks as well as support a team of administrative employees across several locations. You will also support the TRAX team with travel and expense, event coordination, calendar and meeting coordination, as well as various other administrative tasks. Direct program administrative support will be required.
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. Must-haves:
B.A. (or equivalent degree) and 2 years of relevant work experience, or H.S. Diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Must have basic knowledge of administrative practices, to include preparing expense reports and purchase requisitions, maintaining spreadsheets, and coordinating travel.
Experience with calendar and meeting coordination
Must have experience with maintaining a secured facility, or working in a military or Department of Defense environment.
Must be extremely dynamic, demonstrate initiative, and have the ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.
Must be able to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity.
Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft Visio, Teams and SharePoint
Familiarity with JTR and FCG
Experience with SmartSheets
Experience with Microsoft 365
Experience with Concur Travel and Expense platform or other travel management system
