Job Summary: Scans medical record documents into the EMR system. Responds to medical records requests.

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma- Completion of technical program preferred

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize work flow in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with staff, physicians and patients
  • High level of computer proficiency
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
  • Medical records experience a plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology a plus

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Scanning medical documents into EMR system
  • Responding to medical records requests/questions
  • Retrieving medical records documents from the offices for scanning
  • Disposal of scanned medical records
  • Miscellaneous medical records duties as assigned

Compensation: $16-$25/hr
