Pharmacy Technician
Job Posting for Pharmacy Technician at Sierra Pharmacy, Compounding & Medical Equipment
Job description:
- Typing and processing prescriptions (must have strong data entry skills RX30 Software experience preferred)
- Troubleshoot insurance rejections
- Ordering stock and process returns to wholesalers (pharmacy and medical supply)
- Must be willing to deliver prescriptions and/or medical supply items
- Assisting customers with Medical Supplies questions/sales
- Assisting patients with measuring compression stockings and diabetic shoes
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Maintains a working culture of organization and efficiency and teamwork
- Ability to prioritize immediate and longer term goals under minimal supervision
- Participating in maintaining a clean work environment
- Must be willing to participate in marketing to increase our sales and revenue
- Assisting customers and performing tasks in our Postal Service section
- Compounding medications and assisting in lab

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Pharmacy Technician Experience: 1 year (Required)
Language:
- Spanish (Required)
License/Certification:
- Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
