As a Safety Specialists III at Sierra Space are responsible for a range of technical work across HSE disciplines, focusing on engaging stakeholders, reducing risk, and maintaining related assigned HSE programs.
You'll be working individually and in teams to develop, implement, and address employee and stakeholder concerns. Your technical responsibilities will be to ensure program compliance to federal, state, and local HSE regulations and standards.

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or related field of study and typically six (6) or more years of safety experience in aerospace, military, aviation, or general industry;
higher education may be considered in lieu of experience.
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education. Knowledgeable with a variety of occupational health & safety standards, EPA, OSHA, and NFPA regulations
Demonstrated ability to conduct a job hazard analysis, site audits, and incident root cause analysis
Fluency with data capture, data analytics, spreadsheets, and presentation
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with DCMA INST 8210
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Certifications, including Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST)

$79,264.96 - $108,989.33
