What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Operations & Strategy Analyst position at Sift?
What we’re looking for:
Sift is seeking a strategic, analytical, process and detail-oriented Sales Operations & Strategy Analyst. In this role, you will serve as a key member of Sift’s Sales Operations team working to solve complex business problems and build processes to help our organization scale. This is both a strategic and hands-on role. Strategically, you will be responsible for partnering cross-functionally to identify areas of improvement and execute key initiatives to ensure all of our Go-To-Market teams are running efficiently and effectively. On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for helping to manage our GTM tech stack, owning our Deal Desk process and deriving actionable insights from key dashboards and reports.
What you’ll do:
- Deal Desk Operations: Own the deal desk process from end-to-end including approval processes, custom order forms and pricing data; partner with cross-functional teams on approvals as needed: Legal, Finance and Sales
- Reporting & Insights: Standardize and monitor reports to support daily operations and drive accountability; derive insights from sales and usage data to provide strategic recommendations; proactively improve the accuracy and reliability of all reporting
- Project Management: Efficiently execute projects and communication plans to ensure all stakeholders understand project scope, delivery dates and ongoing progress of projects; take initiative to determine areas of improvement across the business
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Understand business problems and collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Partnerships, Finance and Marketing to identify solutions; communicate impact of new processes and improvements to teams
- Manage GTM Tech Stack: Proactively assist with managing tools, automations and integrations to optimize sales & post-sales processes; efficiently onboard and offboard users; become a subject matter expert on the data & processes within the tech stack
What would make you a strong fit:
- 3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Strategy within a an enterprise software company
- Experience managing Deal Desk & CPQ/quote-to-cash experience
- Familiarity with revenue recognition a big plus, especially in usage-based/consumption-based business
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce.com platform with the ability to build custom reports, processes, formula fields, manage integrations etc.
- Self-starter mentality with a high degree of follow-through
- Adept at building and maintaining strong cross-functional working relationships
- Ability to thrive in an action-oriented, fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated starting on-target salary range for this role is $82,500 - $109,000. This role may also be eligible for equity and other benefits. Sift takes into account many factors in determining compensation, including level, location, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Therefore, the pay range / final offer may change or be modified in the future.
