The Recruiter delivers the operational demands of the Talent Acquisition area, providing assistance to managers/employees in matters related to Recruitment.

This role provides distinctive service to external talent, internal customers, employees and partners within SIG company; Comp & Benefits, Legal & Compliance, EHS, HR Systems & Processes, HR Business Partners, business leaders and employees, ensuring future recruiting programs.

Salary: $65k-$70k

Key Responsibilities

• Executes the recruitment of hourly operations personnel for the plant in Merced, CA.
• Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates while providing a positive candidate experience.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, application tracking, and offer management.
• Utilize the applicant tracking system to maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
• Monitor industry trends and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
• Monitors & oversee service delivery, quality and time-to-fill metrics.
• Promotes Employer Branding initiative formulating & selling SIG as an employer of first choice (regional & local) via SIG LIFE@SIG, websites and recruiting events.
• Includes all aspects of our Employer Branding and EVP into recruiting, ensuring a stream-lined New Hire journey and TA-tools for our internal customers which supports our “For Better” Culture.
• External Talent Relationship Management: identifies, develops and maintains relationships with external Talent via events & programs to promote skilled and diverse “ready-to-hire” candidate pools for SIG Operational Positions.
• Act as an ambassador for DE&I processes promoting diversity; fostering an open and inclusive environment.
  
  

You Bring These Skills, Experience & Education

• 1-3 years experience in Recruitment & HR Business Partnering.
• Education in Human Resources, psychology, social sciences or similar, with a focus on human resources/Talent Acquisition preferred.
• Advanced user of MS, especially MS Excel
• Advanced user of applicant tracing systems (SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed)
