Facilities Project Manager

The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for planning, estimating, contracting, and managing new construction and renovation projects. This will involve tracking project costs and establishing each project's scope, schedule, labor needs, and budget elements while working in harmony with others and providing positive, superior customer service for internal Sight & Sound customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate assignments for outside contractors working on new construction and renovation projects.
• Partner with the Interior Designer throughout all phases of project development, to outline new undertakings, establish budgets, make arrangements and review plans generated by architects and engineers.
• Collaborate with the Brand team on design and budget parameters for new projects.
• Manage each phase of a project by creating and overseeing scope, costs, scheduling, inspections, construction quality, safety and final evaluation.
• Oversee new construction, renovations and alterations at the Branson facility.
• Assist the Facility and Grounds Supervisor with any inside or outside work as assigned during periods of slower activity or when primary duties are completed (i.e. construction, landscaping, snow removal, etc.)
• All other duties as assigned.

Prerequisites:

• Professional architectural and/or construction background with general knowledge of engineering, integrated systems and building construction (Example: structural, mechanical, electrical).
• Detail-oriented and organized; able to manage general department operations, documentation, project tracking and oversight, BIM and other project drawings.
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written); dedicated to effective and positive interactions with internal S&S customers and external contacts.
• Superior interpersonal skills; enjoys working with others and promotes a positive attitude under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with VectorWorks and Sketchup Pro preferred.
• Able to visualize concepts for construction and renovation projects that will accommodate building systems, code restraints and structural limitations.
• Forward thinking with the ability to research new construction procedures and/or energy saving technologies and also work in unison with S&S Management and support staff, while managing all project phases.

Experience

• 2 - 5 years: Project Management

Education

• High School or better
