Mechanical Engineer

• Part design, with a focus on sheet metal, injection molding, and electronics integration.
• Engineering analysis (Tolerance, Thermal, Dynamic, Stress) in support of project goals.
• Documentation of designs and design intent. Appropriate tolerance and specification. Creation of 3D CAD and 2D drawings, and Bill of Materials.
• Meet required client CAD and documentation Standards.
• Prepare and present materials for design reviews.
• Work closely with external customers maintaining a focus on customer service and relationship development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of related experience.
• Significant experience in 3D and 2D CAD systems.  Creo Parametric or Pro-E experience required.
• Experience with a wide range of manufacturing methods (machining, sheet metal, injection molding, etc.)
• Experience performing mechanical system analysis, design margin analysis, and designing custom tools for assembly, testing or characterizing electro mechanical systems, and creating clear written technical documentation.
• Familiarity with test design, planning, and execution, including accelerated test methods.
• Experience working in a product design/manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to take initiative to identify and solve complex system level issues.
• Excellent analytical and empirical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong teamwork/interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to plan work and accomplish objectives with minimal direction.
• Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.
• Must be US Person
• Basic computer literacy skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, basic file structure understanding, networks, and web navigation.
• Pass a post-offer background and drug screening.
