Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a RN CVICU to work onsite at our client's healthcare facility in Indianapolis, IN
Shift: 19:00 - 07:00
Summary:
Provides direct patient care in cardiac ICU which may include transplant patients in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel.
Education/Credentials/Essential:
BLS (AHA only required)
Registered Nurse License in IN state.
EMR is used: Sunrise Required
1 year exp.
ACLS/BLS Certification
NIHSS, cardiac Preferred
Skills/Experience: Critical Care
Education Equivalent Experience:
Essential :
Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program.
