SIGNA Sports United (SSU) has built the global # 1 sports e-commerce & technology platform with market leading positions in bike, tennis, outdoor & team sports. Job Objectives:
The US FP&A Director will build and lead a high-performing team that helps the US businesses grow while meeting the financial needs of the Germany-based Group. The FP&A Director is primarily responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for our US business units and leading the development of the US FP&A organization and its processes.
- Strategic, growth driving support of US business units
- Budgeting and forecasting of P&L, balance sheet and cash flows
- Complex financial analysis and modeling, tactical and strategic
- Coordinating with Germany-based Group finance and controlling teams
- Managing business unit FP&A teams
- Designing and implementing robust FP&A procedures across the US business
- Developing and evaluating recommendations for operating priorities
- Ensuring US FP&A systems and tools are sufficient to meet the needs of a growing business within a public company
- Professional integrity is foundational
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
- MBA is a plus
- Hands-on mentality
