What are the responsibilities and job description for the Servicing Associate position at Signal Funding?
JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Servicing Associate is to assist with inbound and outbound law firm communication needed to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure and maintain the timely status of Signal Funding’s litigation pre-settlement advances.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain current status of Signal Funding’s portfolio of litigation advances through phone and email outreach to external stakeholders
- Own all servicing aspects of law firm and attorney relationship post funding prior to collection efforts
- Keep up to date dispositions on all plaintiff cases every 90 days
- Elevate unresponsive law firms to VP of Operations along with recommendations to take targeted action
- Promote the company’s service-focus approach to our attorneys and law firms
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES
- Bi-Lingual
- Minimum of 1-year strong customer service background with law firms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to communicate with different levels of internal and external customers
- Strong interpersonal skills; professional, courteous, friendly, and empathetic
- Strong problem-solving, follow-up, and negotiation skills and ability to make swift, sound judgments
- Ability to positively adjust to a rapidly changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and results oriented
- Good computing and keyboarding skills with the ability to maneuver in a Windows based environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree and prior experience managing a portfolio of clients preferred
- Salesforce experience a plus
- The successful candidate is an energetic self-starter who possesses strong planning, organizational, communication and time management skills. He or she is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer-driven attitude and an ability to quickly adapt to change and learn new technologies.
- Previous work experience in customer-facing environment.
