Title: Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Operations

Location: Omaha, NE Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Compensation: $18/hr probationary period 30 days

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm & on call

Compensation: Starting amount $20/hr

This position will primarily be in office from Monday-Friday, but the individual hired for this position will also need to remain on call in case of call outs or vacancies.

Position Summary:

The Coordinator for Signal of Lincoln is a member of the Office Support Staff under Midwest Security Enterprises, LLC team. The Coordinator works in conjunction with Branch Supervisors and is subordinate to the Director of Operations. Collectively these unified positions are responsible for the overall welfare and support of Signal’s clients, their individual sites, and all employees subordinate to them. This position is an integral part of the team as the Coordinator you will be working primarily in the office as well as on site with employees and clients; upholding Signal’s core values to ensure the greatest quality of services for clients.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Vacancy Resolution

  • Check the schedule and identify all vacancies that day and in the coming week
  • Utilizing the list of assigned employees per site, begin to contact officers until the shift is filled
  • Work with the Director of Operations as you encounter vacancies that have no immediate resolution
  • Throughout filling vacancies, mitigating overtime is also a priority

Director Tasking

o May include but is not limited to, example tasks are:

  • Updating the schedule in real time
  • Reporting checklist items to the Director of Operations
  • Adjust schedule to any absence requests
  • Same day administrative tasks, ie. Post office, dry cleaning pick ups and drop offs, fleet maintenance, etc.

Fleet Maintenance

o May include but is not limited to, example tasks are:

  • Vehicle repair pick ups and drop offs
  • Oil changes
  • Tire repairs
  • Vehicle cleaning and inspections

Peer to Peer Spot Checks

o Minimum of one site per day

  • Peer to peer spot checks typically involve going to check on your fellow Coordinators and Branch Supervisors who work on Dedicated sites
  • Make sure all Branch Supervisors are conducting their spot checks on each assigned site
  • Make sure all Branch Supervisors are adhering to Signal’s uniform policy
  • Report auditing of Dedicated officers
  • Ensuring that the Coordinators and Branch Supervisors have all of the equipment and support they need and reporting back to the Director of Operations any problems or issues
  • During these spot checks you will also cross-train with the on-site Coordinator in order to learn and better understand their responsibilities
  • Spot checks can also be combined with administrative tasks such as:
  • Key drops offs and pick ups
  • Placing signage
  • At the end of each site’s spot checks report your findings on Teams for the Executive Team to review

· Day Patrols/Travel/Miscellaneous

  • Currently Signal of Omaha has one client that requires a security Day Patrol that takes approximately 30 minutes including travel time
  • This time can also include travel between sites/tasks
  • Unexpected tasks typically arise each day where the Director and subordinate team will need assistance in real time

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong reading and writing skills
  • Must be efficient with technology, specifically smartphones
  • Maintain a clean driving record and an up to date driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time
