Compensation: Salary exempt; based on experience

Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Your Role.

The Franchise Operations Senior Manager is responsible for creating and executing on processes that increase the operational performance of our franchisees. This includes reviewing data and business practices to create factual analysis through specified operational and financial measurements and benchmarking. The Operations Department will provide coaching and guidance to Franchises in areas that impact the financial and/or operational health of their businesses.


What You’ll Do in This Role.

 

Team Management 40%

  • Oversee and develop the Franchise Operations Team leading and managing their day-to-day and monthly priorities; Franchise Group, Dispatch and Regional Field, conducting regular team meetings, field visits, one-on-ones, and daily huddles in accordance with Signal meeting processes and culture. Regular travel is a requirement to lead and develop the team.
  • Consistently communicate with the team and the Franchise Network in a fast-paced environment sharing initiatives, goals, and processes that align with the brand vision and strategy- building consistency around fundamental support programs. 

 

Account Management 40%

  • Oversee the overall operational performance of a rapidly growing private security Franchise Network; continually monitoring and assessing performance trends to gain an understanding of the areas of strength and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement programs and processes that align with the core operational initiatives by integrating successful business practices into the operating culture of the Franchisees. This includes operating standards, Officer Brand Experience, organizational models, KPIs, and other initiatives as established through a collaborative team or Signal Leadership.
  • Provide ongoing developmental feedback and guidance to Franchise Owners as related to their overall operational health and adoption of programs and processes, preparing them for their next phase of business. Establish, implement, and monitor action plans for Franchises as needed.
  • Oversee and coordinate regular travel of the department team to all national coverage areas of the Franchise Network as aligned with the documented regional programs and plans.

 

Relationship Development 10%

  • Collaborate with other department leaders and their team regularly through program and process development. 

 

Training 10%

  • Develop targeted regional training and travel plans to support and develop Franchisees for prolonged growth.
  • Participate in regional field training alongside the team to facilitate program content.

Qualifications/Knowledge:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Supervisory and leadership experience is required.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in operations, security management or related field.
  • Must be able to learn new programs quickly (we have proprietary software that will be used daily).
  • Must be proficient in the following applications: Microsoft Office.
  • Must have experience managing projects with proven success.
  • Deeply passionate about our mission and can articulate why.

  • Must be able to travel by air and car up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to pass a background check including Motor Vehicle Report

The Office Environment:

As part of the company, you can expect to work in a standard office setting where there is a positive team atmosphere. Our office is a collaborative space where cross-department projects are frequent. Occasional overtime may be required as business needs dictate. You will have exposure to moderate noise levels and on occasion outside weather conditions (walking between buildings, networking events).


Physical Demands:

Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator, computer keyboard, and phone. This description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job expectations.
