Localisation Service Delivery Lead - Operations

ROLE PURPOSEThis office-based expert role provides vision and clarity over Localisation design across the board of all Endpoint Solutions products and platforms.Interacting across the board with different stakeholders, internal and external (e.g. Sponsor representatives on various functions, Business Development, Project Management, Scale management, Global Technical Delivery etc) at all levels, the Localisation Service Delivery Lead is an expert of all Signant Localisation capabilities and solutions and able to assess feasibility and to design of the localisation implementation mainly for high and custom complexity studies.The individual needs to be connected to Signant’s processes and product development roadmap and capabilities, to deeply understand dependencies and assess impact, while being permanently connected to the translations and localisation industry standards (e.g. ISPOR framework evolution, industry trends and latest achievements). Needs to be able to articulate potential out of the box Localisation solutions to cope with increased complexity or cross products offerings.The individual must be able to manage projects with team members and have open communication across the board with internal and external stakeholders, project team and client to deliver efficient, right first time and on time localisation related tasks.Is accountable for the delivery design of the localisation solution, in order to meet key project milestones, whilst adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Signant Health processes and regulatory compliance.Maintains a close working relationship with leadership counterparts, both Signant and 3rd party (e.g. Translation Vendors) and to ensure key / premier client requirements are met and that processes are aligned with Signant Health best practices and consistently applied. Key participant in process improvement activities, the Localisation Service Delivery Lead monitors also 3rd party vendor performance and is active part in Return to Green or improvement initiatives.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Acts as Localisation global subject matter expert related to processes, technology and capabilities across productsActively involved in design and feasibility analysis for the localisation solution since early days of a commercial opportunityWork with internal and external stakeholders across the board, all levels and functions, related to Localisation design and implementation planningResponsible for the external vendors performance management, including metrics setup, analysis and outcomesWork closely with Director Localisation and Localisation Management to ensure cohesive and consistent deliveryResponsible for the assigned strategic improvement initiatives related to Localisation, in line with company strategy and goals.Executes independently or coordinates activities on high and custom complexity projectsActs are resource pool manager within the localisation global resource poolProvide leadership in problem solving, defining the solution through to implementationDECISION MAKING AND INFLUENCEKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESEssential:Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business, IT, Translations or other relevant experienceDeep understanding of Localisation industry and trends – at least 5 years hands on experienceProven record of hands on management of localisation projects within clinical trials on a variety of therapeutical areas and SponsorsMust have a solid understanding and experience in the pharmaceutical industry and clinical trial process, including regulatory requirementsShould understand the software life cycle and the specification and configuration of software productsProven project execution track record with a strong attention to detailMust be able to direct activities of a team, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing company’s revenuesDesirable:Very good knowledge of Signant Health tools, processes and capabilities linked to LocalisationHands on experience on localisation planning and execution for complex clinical trial programsExperience in managing teams in a complex project based environment is desirable
