What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Director position at Signature Bank?
In this position, you will head up the West Coast Wealth Management Business and lead the growth of SSG on the West Coast. You will grow the sales force by recruiting qualified Financial Advisors and work proactively with the West Coast banking heads (Executive Director and Managing Group Director's) to formulate strategic plans to assist in meeting bank profitability goals including business plan growth, income objectives, controlling expense to maintain profitability.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Responsible for group’s adherence to all SSG policies and procedures; maintain compliance with established internal policies, and all applicable laws and regulations
- Work closely with West Coast FA’s to assist in client meetings
- Initiate and direct sales and business development programs to see/cross-sell a full range of financial services to current and prospective clients
- Perform pro-active community outreach and work with local organizations in various neighborhood functions to become a good corporate neighbor
Qualifications:
- Series 24, 7, 66 or equivalent and Insurance License required
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required
- Strong business development skills and prior sales experience with the ability to produce new business
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to make independent decisions and manage time effectively
- Broad knowledge of financial products, services, and compliance including KYC-AML required
