Website Content Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate web editor to publish, plan and edit web content. The successful candidate should be a skilled designer, with an eye for detail and an understanding of the special requirements of web editing with and without a Content management system.

The goal is to produce and publish creative web content to appeal to all of our brand’s audiences.

The ideal candidate will be able to take written or spokenideas andconvert them into designs that connect with their intended audience via web pages. The successful candidate should have an understanding of the fundamentals of web marketing, and be able to find the right style and layout for every project while following brand and style guidelines.

Objectives of this role

• Work on a wide range of page publishing, using mostly Hubspot CMS to visually present written pillar pages, blogs, product pages, and various landing page funnels.
• Obtain input from managers to ensure that the photos, graphic design and content meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule content edits and implementation based on workload, which may include four or more simultaneous projects.
• Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities
• Update and maintain internal storage folders for designs, photography, and video

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Content and Creative team members to publish new posts on schedule
• Oversee layout (images, graphics, videos and artwork)
• Check content for accuracy
• Collaborate with marketing (e.g. web designers, team leads and photographers) to improve article presentation
• Comply with copyright and privacy regulations
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system (Hubspot)
• Work with the Art and Creative Directors to find and use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific campaigns.

Required skills and qualifications

• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills with the ability to design with in brand guidelines.
• Publish and produce new content in a creative way
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Organizational and detailed time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Selecting and editing images for websites.
• Proven work experience as a web editor
• Editing skills with a demonstrable portfolio of published work
• Strong knowledge of SEO and SEO Best Practices
• Desire to continue building skill set with education and training
• Comply with copyright and privacy regulations

Preferred skills and qualifications

Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or 3 years related discipline in design.
• Working knowledge of basic CMS web page content creation ( Hubspot, Wordpress, Squarespace, Shopify, etc..)
• Training in basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Attention to detail

• Keep track of developments in web technology
