Boat Detailer

Signature Yachts is looking for our next boat detailer on our service team. We are a premier sailboat dealer that has been located on Lake Union for over 30 years! We are looking for a team player that shows ownership in cleaning and maintaining a fleet of boats. There are other

No experience required but is a huge plus. We provide on the job training for the right team member!

Job Duties:

• Wash boats using cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes
• Cleaning, buffing & waxing exterior and interior of boats
• Assisting with assembling new boats coming from the factory
• Sanding and Varnishing (we will train)
• Assisting with Basic Rigging (No experience necessary)
• Ability to learn boat handling for moving boats within our marina
• Curious and eager to continue learning boat skills
• Other duties could be Marina & Property cleaning/maintenance

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis.
• Work demands are rain or shine! Some work is interior.
• Job is physically demanding- scrubbing, standing and kneeling
• Ability to prioritize work and keep up with fast pace environments.

Job Requirements:

• Great team player
• Valid Driver's license

Compensation:

• Pay range $21 - $23 (experience based)
• 24-30 hours week. Mostly T-F with an occasional weekend
• Potential yearly team bonus
• Paid time off (Sick and Vacation days)

Experience:

• Cleaning or Detailing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
• Boat Handling: 1 years (preferred)

Location:

• Office – 40 slip marina on Lake Union (Westlake)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
