Position Summary
To support the store team to ensure consistent delivery of the Company’s vision to be the world’s first in class retail jeweler by relentlessly connecting with our customers, earning their trust with every interaction, excellent customer service, operational standards, and compliance in all areas of operational activity. Supports the creation of a Customer First culture in by taking ownership and control of the day to day customer traffic, line queue, and administrative duties of the store and to achieve and maintain the highest level of efficiency, safety and security.
Responsibilities
- Performs daily administrative and clerical duties in relation to traffic queuing, appointment coordination, and customer service that supports the overall success of the store. Inputs customer contact information into Clienteling from daily appointment tracker and walk in traffic lists for future outreach
- Assists in overall flow of traffic and line queueing, both scheduled appointments and walk-in customers, to maximize customer experience. Greet and welcome every customer, identifying intent of customer’s visit and uniting them with a jewelry consultant or directing to appropriate line after occupancy limits are reached. Encourage customers who cannot wait to make an appointment with our virtual team or schedule an appointment in store or online for a future date. Direct customers to the appropriate line and review social distancing guidance. Refer customers to the QR codes on the in-store signage. Enforces local occupancy limits. Assists in rerouting customers to virtual workforce as applicable.
- Manage the Daily Appointment Tracker and Walk In Traffic lists to assist with checking people in for appointments or taking new appointments. Acknowledge appointments as “show” or “no show” in Clienteling as customers check in for appointments and at the end of every day for no show appointments.
- Assists with in-store fulfillment initiatives and outbound shipments (BOPIS, Ship from Store, Web orders, repairs, special orders, etc.) utilizing carriers as directed.
- Adheres to all established health & safety, security and loss prevention policies and procedures. Assists with general office duties as required. Assist with the cleaning protocols in between customer and jewelry consultant interaction. Answer the store telephone as needed.
Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job. Shifts may change based on peak days, times and traffic patterns.
Position Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience preferred
- Attention to detail, basic computer skills.
